R&D/Leverage helped scale up production of the Replenish Refill bottle, a refillable plastic bottle system that has pods of concentrated soaps and cleaners attach to the bottom of the bottle.

Jason Foster, founder of Replenish, said his team met with R&D/Leverage at a trade show in Florida.
“At that point, we had made some tools, but nothing had been scaled up,” Foster said. “From the inception of our partnership with R&D/Leverage, it was clear that they recognized and were excited about the potential of our new category.”
The Replenish team required injection molds designed for high-speed automation, in six different parts using an integrated, leak-proof bottle/reservoir design that would appeal to manufacturers of a wide range of packaged goods.
Berry Plastics Corp. produces the package.
R&D/Leverage, in Lee's Summit, Mo., makes molds and helps customers develop new packaging brands.
