Austria-based recycling technology group Erema GmbH has announced the creation of its new sister company Pure Loop GmbH, which specializes in the recycling of clean production wastes using shredder/extruder technology.
Shredder/extruder technology is used for the re-pelletizing of production waste in forms such as film, fibers, solid plastic part and many others. The Pure Loop plant systems, based on extruder/shredder technology, will be offered immediately under the name ISEC (Integrated Shredder Extruder Combination) states Erema.
Manfred Dobersberger, appointed managing director of Pure Loop, said: "With ISEC we are able to adapt to the scrap logistics of our customers in an optimum way, always with the aim of returning the largest possible amount of recycled pellets to production. The key lies in the handling of the material and, therefore, minimizing the possibility of contamination as far as possible.
"As we are part of the Erema Group, the customers of Pure Loop benefit from the corresponding technical support and vast reservoir of knowledge derived from decades of plastics recycling," Dobersberger added.
Pure Loop's official launch and the global premiere of ISEC will take place at NPE 2014 in Orlando, Fla., in March 23-27 at Booth W5673.
Erema, which employs 450 people worldwide, reported sales of 115 million euros ($131.2 million) in its last fiscal year.
