Amut SpA, the Novara, Italy-based maker of extruders, thermoforming machines and plastics recycling equipment, has acquired the Italian company that makes Dolci and Bielloni packaging equipment.
Bielloni Converting SpA bought the Dolci brand of film processing equipment three years ago. The operations are based in Biassono, Italy.
Dolci Bielloni manufactures printing and slitting rewinding machines, blown and cast films for multilayer film, coating and laminating lines. The company's film lines make a variety of products such as stretch film, silage, barrier, technical, medical, diapers and masking.
Amut Group will spread the word about the new combined company at upcoming trade shows, NPE 2015 (Booth W8371), on March 23-27 in Orlando, Fla., and at Plast in Milan, Italy, from May 5-9.
At the Plast show, the company will run a shuttle bus to its plant, where it will run two stretch film lines.
Amut CEO Mauro Drappo said the company, now operating as Amut Dolci Bielloni, is broad-based.
“We constantly work to be considered by our customers as a sole partner, being able to offer the most complete range of machines for the plastics extrusion, thermoforming and recycling field,” he said.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
