Attendees of what promises to be the biggest ever NPE 2015 show will have much to process from the equipment manufacturers filling more than 1 million square feet in Orlando, Fla.
Amongst the hundreds of injection molders, extruder, blow molders and compounders, other machine makers that can be grouped by the handful or the dozen will be showing off their latest offerings for the various processes used to make plastic products.
A couple of these exhibitors include:
Ferry Industries Inc. (Booth S30013): Exhibiting the next generation RotoSpeed RS-2600 rotational molding machine with new RotoCure IPC software package for operating systems and reporting to local stations or user's intranet. Other new or improved features: increased straight arm weight capacity of 3,000 pounds, faster carriage index speeds and oven door open/close times, reduced dB cooler chamber fans, and latest electrical controls. Also, showing redesigned Quintax 5-axis CNC router/machining center product line for plastics and composites applications.
Sacmi (Booth W643): Demonstrating the latest CCM 48 — a 48-cavity continuous compression molding machine that uses less electricity than previous versions — with the Cool+ mold for making one-piece HDPE caps for carbonated soft drinks in a cycle time of less than 2.15 seconds and output rate of 1,350 caps a minute. Also, presenting an engineered development associated with slitting and folding anti-tamper bands that offers logistic and cost benefits.
