The Serbian Privatization Agency has launched the privatization process for local plastics maker Krušik-Plastika A.D. The agency says it is currently accepting offers to acquire a 93.36 percent stake in the manufacturer.
The state-run agency has set the initial price for the shares at 843,299 euros. The deadline for the submission of bids is April 6, and the offers are to be opened on April 20, the agency said in a statement.
Krušik-Plastika has been active in the country's plastics industry since 1975, and the company's product portfolio includes a wide range of plastic containers, pipe, tubes, packages, tanks and other components, according to data released by Krušik-Plastika.
The Osečina, Serbia-based firm says it operates injection molding machines supplied by KraussMaffei and Haitian.
The firm owns a production facility in Osečina, and employs 130.
