Technical components producer Rosenberger Hochfrequenztechnik GmbH & Co. KG has unveiled the results of a 9 million euro ($9.5 million) upgrade and expansion at its high frequency and fiber connectors plant at Jászárokszállás, Hungary.
The company, based in Fridolfing, Germany, extended the Hungarian facility's manufacturing and component assembly area by 6,200 square meters to take the overall site extent to 20,000 square meters. Completion of its latest project has led to the creation of more than 50 jobs at the site taking the workforce to over 1,400.
The site, acquired by Rosenberger in 2003, saw the construction of a new assembly hall in 2007 and in 2010 the manufacturing floor space was doubled and a more productive logistics area was created. It now also has a storage area of 4,800 square meters.
Today, the group's Hungarian subsidiary Rosenberger Magyarország has annual sales of almost 30 million euros ($31.8 million) and virtually all its component production is exported, mainly to Europe, North America and South America, according to the firm.
Rosenberger is a manufacturer of car, telecom and electronics sector parts, supplying global brand names such Ericsson, Alcatel, Motorola, Siemens, Huawei, Audi, VW and Daimler.
