ORLANDO, FLA. — KraussMaffei Corp. has donated about 75,000 stadium drink cups, molded at NPE 2015 on a Netstal injection press, to Matthew 25:Ministries, an international humanitarian and disaster relief organization based in Cincinnati.
KraussMaffei Corp. is based in nearby Florence, Ky. President Paul Caprio said Churchill Container Co. in Shawnee, Kan., purchased the Netstal press, mold, in-mold labeling system and automation last summer, with the intent to display it at NPE.
Caprio said officials of the machinery maker and Churchill Container wanted to put the 44-ounce cups to good use.
“I love recycling. I think it's great to recycle. But if someone can use the cups, I think that's really great,” he said.
KM shipped the cups from NPE 2015 to Matthew25:Mininstries.
