An April 13 fire at a small plastics recycling company killed four people in Jieyang, Guangdong province.
The blaze started at 9:56 a.m. and was extinguished in less than an hour at 10:53 a.m., according to an announcement from the Guangdong Emergency Management Office.
The government agency said the flames spread to a total of 140 square meters (1,507 square feet) of the building.
A photo of the scene shows large plumes of thick black smoke rising from a small building in an apparently densely populated alley, engulfing low-hanging power lines.
No more details are available at press time. The agency said it is investigating the cause of the fire.
