The European Plastics Converters Association (EuPC) and PlasticsEurope, together with the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE), have announced that they have partnered to launch the first European Plastics Innovation Awards.
The organizations said the awards will spotlight companies demonstrating outstanding and highly innovative developments in the field of plastics technology.
The awards are divided into eight different categories: Best Plastics Design, Best Design for End-of Life, Intelligent and Smart Plastic, Material Innovation, Hybrid Product, Best Substitute Product for Enhance Sustainability, Best Lightweight Innovation and New Surfaces for Plastics Parts.
The jury will include academics, experts in politics and industry, as well as NGOs and trade press who will evaluate the projects presented. Members of the jury will be announced soon.
All members of the EuPC, PlasticsEurope and SPE will have the opportunity to submit projects for the awards until May 25.
