ORLANDO, FLA. — Two printing machinery companies have combined their businesses.
Apex Machine Co. Inc. recently acquired Desco Equipment Corp. the companies announced at NPE 2015 in Orlando.
Desco, based in Twinsburg, Ohio, makes systems for handling and decorating closures and other items such as pails, buckets, tubes and lids. In addition to dry, offset printing equipment, Desco offers spare parts and inks.
Apex Machine in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., supplies printing and parts handling machinery for 3-D components for healthcare, personal care and automotive markets.
Former Desco principals Leo Henry and Gene Gilbert will continue with Desco during the integration of the companies.
