Shibuya Hoppmann Corp. in Manassas, Va., has introduced its upgraded models of its Elevating Prefeeder line: EP-04, EP-08 and EP-10.
The 2015 models handle a variety of small- and medium-sized parts. Improvements include improved hopper construction that eliminates most welded seams and internal hardware that can catch the product, reconfigured drives and a 56C face motor mounting for a wide range of motor options.
In other news, the company unveiled its smallest-ever elevated prefeeder, the AT-02 tabletop model. Prices start at $4,200.
