Flexible packaging maker Prolamina Corp. is undertaking a renovation of its Westfield, Mass., location that will include beautification, improved technology and green initiatives, the company said.
Work also will add administrative space as well as what the company called “a small amount” of manufacturing space.
Other efforts will involve roof work, overall building maintenance and rehabilitation, and improvements to both air quality and flooring, Prolamina said.
Prolamina produces a variety of flexible packaging in Westfield, the company said, “from the most basic to the most technologically advanced multi-layer packaging substrate.”
The 250,000-square-foot site has been operating for 30 years and employs more than 250 workers, the company said.
