Wittmann Battenfeld GmbH's Feedmax S3 single net, single-material loaders has a powerful collector motor, designed for throughput of up to 330 pounds an hour.
The loader conveys granulate and any sort of regrind to dryers, dosing devices and processing machines. Also, for the first time, the loader deploys a second filter, a security that prevents the motor from getting dusty in case the main filter is not correctly re-installed after getting cleaned.
The cylindrical part of the conveying unit is made of stainless steel, and the stainless steel sheets are machined in-house.
The material inlet also is stainless steel, in two parts: a cast part of about 5 millimeters wall thickness and a stainless steel reduction, connected via a clamping ring. It serves as the connector for the conveying tube.
Using a potentiometer scale, conveying times can be exactly defined.
The “net” part of the Feedmax S3 net refers to the ability of controlling several loaders using a single touch-screen remote control. The control's color display has a status indication. It enables the setting of conveying times, dosing proportions and dedusting cycles for up to six units.
Another feature: the ambiLED all-around visible status display that can be viewed from any point of view in the production hall.
