NEW BERLIN, WIS. — Auxiliary equipment maker ACS Group has laid off about 30 to 35 people in recent weeks, machinery sources said.
The sources said the layoffs include experienced senior people.
ACS has been owned by St. Louis-based Harbour Group since 1995. Based in New Berlin, ACS Group's product brand names include AEC, Sterling, Cumberland and Colortronic.
ACS President Jim Holbrook did not return a telephone call seeking comment for this story. Paul Grekowicz, ACS Group vice president of marketing and product development, also could not be reached for comment.
