The assets of cup maker MicroGreen Polymers Inc. will be auctioned off for the benefit of its secured lenders on Sept. 30 onsite and via webcast by Branford Group, of Branford, Conn.
Arlington, Wash.-based MicroGreen was the maker of hot and cold cups ranging in size from four to 20 ounces, using recycled PET. They also made other food packaging products including trays.
Thermoforming and extrusion lines, as well as printing and packaging equipment, and the facility will be part of the over 700-lot auction. Most of the equipment was purchased new in 2014.
They include two Lyle, Brown and Zed thermoforming lines, two Lyle horizontal high speed trim presses, a Starlinger ViscoSheet conical screw extrusion line and other equipment. The intellectual property, tooling and molds will also be available.
