French robot specialist Sepro Robotique is bringing its robots for large-tonnage molding machines (from 800 to 5,000 tons of clamping force) to the upcoming Fakuma show in Germany.
But Sepro will show its broader product line, displaying seven robots at its own exhibit and five robots at injection press makers at Fakuma, under the nameplates of Billion, Haitian, JSW and Sumitomo Demag.
At Sepro's own booth, two robots will work together to manipulate auto parts, and three robots will handle a soccer ball. Another robot mounted upside down and above a Demag press will remove a complex part and place it on a conveyor.
Sepro is exhibiting in Hall 1A, stand 1203 during the Fakuma.
Three lines of robots for large-tonnage presses will make their European debut at Fakuma. Sepro will demonstrate a five-axis robot from its new premium 7X Line, and a Strong 50, representing a line of general-purpose large robots.
Also, the company is announcing another three-axis family of robots for large-tonnage injection presses, called the technological S7 line, a six-axis articulating-arm robot and a Success 33 from its universal range of three-axis robots.
“The new large robots complete the transformation of the full Sepro product line, which we began in 2008,” said Jean-Michel Renaudeau, Sepro CEO. “Over the last six years — since the depths of the financial crisis — we have completely redesigned our portfolio to deliver all-servo robots that are faster and more powerful, with longer strokes and larger payloads than previous generations.”
Sepro is based in La Roche-sur-Yon, France.
