When Niles, Ohio-based Dinesol Plastics Inc. needed room for more machinery, it turned to its nearby warehouse and converted enough space to handle seven injection molding machines.
Dinesol's warehouse is in Austintown, about five miles from its manufacturing plant in Niles, according to Bob Hendricks, executive vice president.
“We're just trying to continue to meet our customers' needs,” Hendricks said.
The company converted space in about 15 percent of the building and has installed seven mid-range Milacron machines. Further details were not disclosed. The company is a privately owned injection molder and runs only Milacron machines.
The city of Austintown has helped with the effort, fixing a road that runs by the warehouse.
