Capri Sun drink pouches certainly have seen their fair share of controversy over the years due to the difficulty they pose to traditional plastic recyclers.
And Transportation Security Administration agents certainly have seen their fair share of controversy over the years due to the way some have handled their security duties at airports.
Well those two worlds collided in spectacular fashion after an outraged dad posted a video on YouTube after his daughter was patted down by a TSA agent when they found a Capri Sun pouch in her bag as she was heading through security at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina.
“I felt it was incredibly inappropriate, very invasive and it really violated my daughter,” father Kevin Payne said in one news report.
Payne posted a video of the pat down on YouTube titled “10 Year Old Girl Aggressively Patted Down by TSA. Does this look right to You?”
TSA struck back, however, with this statement: “The process by which the child was patted down followed approved procedures.”
The father's video has more than 250,000 YouTube views.
