A special Allrounder has been delivered to a longtime Arburg customer in China.
The hybrid Allrounder 470H 1000-400 looks different from other machines, as it carries a “200th Allrounder” mark as well as the signature of Eugen Hehl, a Plastics Hall of Famer who, along with his brother Karl, built their father's small- town firm into a global machinery powerhouse.
The machine is co-signed by the customer — Guo Manjin, chairman of China's leading manufacturer of electric relays Xiamen Hongfa Electroacoustic Co. Ltd. It's the 200th Allrounder that Hongfa has purchased.
Arburg China said the partnership has come a long way as Hongfa started its strategic transformation in 2004, the same year Arburg established its Shanghai office to supply machinery and services.
Arburg said it helped Hongfa to significantly reduce its production cycle, improve the company's proprietary hot-runner mold technology, as well as implement Arburg's ASL production management software.
Hongfa is publicly traded on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange with about 4 billion yuan ($608 million) of annual sales.
