Pretium Packaging LLC named Nypro executive Paul Kayser as its new president and CEO starting on Feb. 15.
Kayser was president of Jabil Circuit Inc.'s Nypro Packaging arm. He was instrumental in getting Nypro into packaging in 2005, and was named president of the division in 2008. Under his leadership, Nypro Packaging grew to nine locations in the United States, Mexico and Europe.

Together we will take Pretium's strong foundation as a customer solutions provider to new heights,” Kayser said in a news release.
Chesterfield, Mo.-based Pretium makes rigid plastic containers and closures for the food and beverage, household, industrial, pharmaceutical, agricultural, chemical and personal care markets. It was acquired by Genstar Capital LLC of San Francisco in June 2014 from Nicolet Capital Partners LLC of Chicago. Since then, Pretium acquired Tri-Delta Plastics in December 2014 and Intertech Corp. in February 2015.
Pretium ranked 15th among North American blow molders in the 2015 Plastics News rankings. It had an estimated $285 million in sales with 14 facilities.
Pretium's former president and CEO George Abd left the company in December to pursue other opportunities.
