Lebanon, Ore. — John Effmann, a longtime plastics machinery veteran and activist at the Society of the Plastics Industry Inc., is retiring from Entek Manufacturing Inc., effective March 31.
Effmann has worked in the plastics industry for more than 40 years. He joined Entek in 2005, helping that maker of twin-screw co-rotating extruders and separators for batteries in marketing positions. He currently is director of sales and marketing for the Lebanon-based company.
Effmann was chairman of NPE 2012, helping lead the landmark move of NPE to Orlando,
