Mexico City — Crain Communications, the organizer of the UTECH trade shows for the polyurethanes sector, is bringing its events to Latin America.
The company, which is the parent of Plastics News, announced March 10 that it will hold the first, three-day UTECH Las Americas at the Centro Banamex expo in Mexico City.
The event will be held April 4-6, 2017.
“We are pleased to be able to respond to industry demand and bring our successful formula to Mexico City for 2017,” said Sue Rothwell, event director at Crain, in a news conference at the Plastimagen Mexico 2016 trade show at the Centro Banamex. “It is the ideal location to attract exhibitors, conference speakers and visitors from across The Americas.”
Crain will work with event partner E.J. Krause & Associates on the show.
“UTECH will continue to strengthen and expand our reach in the growing industrial sectors in the region,” said Paul St. Amour, Krause's vice president for Latin America.
