Electronics molding giant Flextronics International Ltd., which acquired 14.6 percent of RocTool SA, the French manufacturer of induction systems to rapidly heat and cool molds down with water last fall, has now filled a post on RocTool's board of directors.
The board spot is held by Francois Barbier, Flextronics Group vice president of global operations and components. Barbier joined the RocTool board on Nov. 4. He replaced Stephane Hersen, who left Roctool on Nov. 30, 2015.
RocTool also announced that Mathieu Boulanger is the new CEO of RocTool. Boulanger is a 10-year RocTool veteran of leading business development, and for the last two years has been president of Roctool Inc. in the United States.
The company also announced it is accelerating its developments in North America, based in Charlotte, N.C. RocTool's Charlotte facility is becoming one of the company's key technical centers for demonstrations and trials for injection molding, and soon for compression molding as well.
RocTool is based in Le Bourget du Lac, France.
