I'm sure you're all familiar with the old tale of King Midas, who acquired the power to turn anything into gold, just by touching it.
Now a group of visual effects artists at Corridor Digital have taken the story and given it a Lego twist.
In a short — very short, as in less than two minutes — dialogue free film “Turn Anything Into Lego,” our hero gains the ability to, well, turn anything he touches into Lego pieces: coffee cup, desk, chair … and if you're familiar with King Midas' story, then you can guess what happens from there.
So if you have a couple of minutes to spare, check it out.
By the way, no Legos were harmed in the making of the movie. It's all about digital effects, as you can see if you check out the “making of” video, also on YouTube.
