Strongsville, Ohio — Sumitomo (SHI) Demag Plastics Machinery will run five injection molding demonstrations during an April 27-28 open house at facility in Strongsville.
The molding cells with feature five of Sumitomo Demag's SEEV-A platform of all-electric injection molding presses. The presses, from the SEEV-A and SEEVA HD will mold parts during the open house.
Specialized capabilities will be featured, such as the Z-Molding control system for flow front, multi-toggle clamp force control and the new S-MOVE technology — which replaces multi-step mold open/close speed settings with a smoother, faster optimized speed pattern.
The SEEV A presses running at the Strongsville event range in clamping force from 56-562 tons.
Molding applications shown include medical, thin-wall, automotive, lens and consumer parts.
The open house includes technical presentations each day, both next to the machines and in separate, breakout rooms.
