A meditation room. A rock climbing wall. Treadmill desks. Free gym memberships. Bikes to rent and take out during the middle of the work day.
This sounds like the stuff of tech giant Google. But it's actually the life at Laddawn Inc., a film extruder and plastic bag maker. Or at least, it will soon to be life there.
An expansion expected to be completed later this summer will bring the rock climbing wall and treadmill desks to life at the company's headquarters. Other items are already in place (including the bikes and gym memberships).
The bikes were out for service when I visited Laddawn's headquarters outside of Boston, but Owen Richardson, vice president of sales and marketing, discussed the various plans during our interview for What Keeps You Up at Night.
