A European company called Exapro is doing ecommerce for used industrial machinery — including injection molding machines.
Exapro was launched in 2000 in Saumur, France. The company now employs 22 people, linking buyers and sellers of used machinery worldwide.
Each member of the team is in charge of a specific industrial sector and geographical area. The employees handle inquiries, select the most serious ones and propose them to the sellers. Once a deal is made, Exapro sends a commission invoice to the seller.
The company's U.S. headquarters, Exapro Inc., is in Coral Springs, Fla.
Exapro also has a subsidiary in Prague, the Czech Republic.
There is no stock of machines available at these address, according to Exapro's website. Visits and meetings are available there by appointment only.
