German industrial packaging firm Mauser Group has announced the start-up of three new production lines at its site in St. Priest, France, in 2017.
The Bruehl-based firm will install a new production line for intermediate bulk containers and a new reconditioning unit together with its subsidiary National Container Group in January 2017.
During the second half of next year, a production line for plastic drums, with up to 220 liters filling volume will be added.
"Mauser has a longstanding history of successful services and product offerings in France and in St. Priest specifically”, said José DaFonseca, who oversees the sales activities for Mauser in France and Southern Europe.
Mauser's St. Priest plant has been producing steel drums for the chemical, petrochemical, agrochemical and the food industry since 1968.
In July, Mauser announced the acquisition of Daniels Healthcare Group, a specialist in medical waste containers in Kidlington, England. Daniels specializes in medical waste containers, especially collection boxes for needles.
