Chinaplas, the second largest plastics industry exhibition in the world, after the K show, will focus on “intelligent manufacturing, high-tech materials and green solutions” in 2017.
The 2017 show, scheduled for May 16-19 in Guangzhou, touts products and solutions covering every stage of the product lifecycle in different sectors, such as E&E and telecom, automotive, packaging, building & construction, medical and other end markets.
An expanded “Automation Technology Zone” will feature standalone equipment as well as entire production lines from global leading suppliers such as ABB, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Bosch Rexroth, Universal Robots, Staubli, Delta Greentech, and Lite-On Electronic. An Industry 4.0 Conference will be held concurrently. In addition, the automation zone will host the Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association, which will organize a delegation to Chinaplas for the first time.
Chinaplas 2017 will bring together the world's top plastics material suppliers to showcase the possibilities of the latest material innovations, to meet the diverse demands of downstream applications, such as lightweight automobiles and electronics, food safety, green packaging, low carbon buildings, and more.
Eyeing the brisk growth of the medical plastics market, Chinaplas 2017 will hold the third Medical Plastics Conference to share the latest technology and explore more innovative applications in the medical device industry.
The “Recycling Technology Zone,” which debuted this year at Chinaplas 2016 Shanghai, will return next year and feature a larger presence with many new exhibitors.
Chinaplas 2017 will take place at the China Import & Export Fair Complex in Pazhou, with 3,300 exhibitors from 40 countries and regions, and expecting more than 140,000 professional buyers from all around the globe.
