Chinese blown film equipment maker Jinming Machinery (Guangdong) Co. Ltd. said Nov. 23 it is strengthening a technical cooperation agreement with German controller manufacturer Siemens, aimed at boosting so-called Industry 4.0 and other automated manufacturing.
Jinming, based in the Chinese city of Shantou, said it signed the agreement with Siemens at the K 2016 trade fair in Germany last month. It said that the two companies jointly developed a controller platform for Jinming's Superex five-layer blown film exhibited at K.

The agreement signed at K builds on an earlier agreement, signed in 2015, between the two companies, Jinming said.
The Chinese firm also said that is sold the five-layer Superex line exhibited at K to a customer in Mexico.
