Atlanta — Consolidated Container Co. has acquired the assets of Denver-based Bottles Unlimited Inc. Terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 1986, Bottles Unlimited makes rigid plastic packaging for the dairy, water and industrial/specialty chemical markets. The company's business and facility will become part of CCC's Beverage business unit.
“We are pleased to have the team at Bottles Unlimited become part of CCC. The acquisition of this business allows CCC to further expand our operating footprint and product offering to the benefit of our growing customer base,” said Patrick Keese, senior vice president and general manager of the Beverage group, in a news release.
CCC is based in Atlanta and has 56 rigid plastic manufacturing plants and two recycling plants. The company ranked No. 7 in Plastics News' most recent survey of North American blow molders, with estimated sales of $820 million.
CCC has been aggressive in acquisitions, most recently buying the assets of Quebec-based blow molder Semopac.
