Cranberry Township, Pa. — Kirk Winstead, who became chief operating officer of IPEG Inc. in 2015, is adding president to his title at the parent company of auxiliary equipment makers Conair, Thermal Care, Republic Machine and Pelletron.
Those four IPEG subsidiaries report directly to Winstead.
Winstead worked for 27 years at Rapid Granulator, holding positions in technical, sales and management positions and eventually becoming CEO. Rapid was a member of IPEG until it was sold in 2015.
Chris Keller was IPEG president, and he will continue as CEO. IPEG is based in Cranberry Township.
Keller said he will focus on big-picture, longer-term strategy and support IPEG's management team. “This will involve continuing to chart a path of growth for IPEG, including looking for suitable acquisitions and determining where best to allocate and invest our resources,” he said.
Conair announced the personnel news Jan. 3.
