French injection moulder Groupe RGF has been sold to investment companies and plastics industry professional Pascal Daviet for an undisclosed price.
Omnes Capital said that, with the support of co-investors Capital Transmission (part of Banque Cantonale de Genève) and Bpifrance, it has bought out Joël Béraldin, director and 100 percent shareholder in Groupe RGF. Béraldin has acquired minority stakes in the new transaction.
Groupe RGF, which produces technical moldings for various sectors, generated sales of more than 20 million euros in 2016 sales.
Over the last 10 years, under the management of Béraldin, the group has grown through four acquisitions. It now has four production plants in France and one in Romania carrying out injection molding, mold making and assembly.
Group companies are: RGF Plastique located in Pratz, Plastic Alpes in Ruy, Jarrossay in Thyez, Charvet in Eybens — all in France — and Plastic Crisana in Bihor, Romania.
Pascal Daviet is taking over as the head of Groupe RGF with an aim to strengthen its sales teams, diversify its product range and target new markets, said Omnes Capital in a statement.
Daviet said: “My aim is to continue to develop Groupe RGF by focusing its business development on products and sub-assemblies offering greater added value, in order to become a key player in the plastics industry of the future.”
