One of Nexeo Solutions' top executives recently visited his past to build for the future.
Shawn Williams — senior vice president of plastics for Nexeo in The Woodlands, Texas — addressed his graduating class at the Haas School of Businesss MBA reunion. The event was held April 28-30 at the University of California at Berkeley. Williams graduated from the Haas program in 1992.
The event included several graduating classes. In his speech, Williams spoke about how the rigor of the program created a foundation that has proven critical to his success as a global business leader.
Williams later presented a personal donation to Cal-Berkeley and urged his fellow alumni to contribute to the Haas Fund to ensure continued strategic opportunities for their alma mater.
Williams also holds a bachelor's degree from Purdue University. He has almost 30 years of professional experience, including general management, product management and sales positions.
