Washington — The deadline is approaching for nominations to the Plastics Hall of Fame.
The Plastics Academy is looking for living candidates for the honor, who will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at NPE2018 in Orlando, Fla.
The academy inducts living members to the hall during NPE years.

Nominees' qualifications should include one or more of the following criteria:
• Significant invention or breakthrough.
• Development of an outstanding product, market or business endeavor.
• Long and valuable service to the industry.
• Record of constructive collaboration with government, regulatory, academic, trade or other industry groups.
Winners will be notified by the academy president on Jan. 12, and will be inducted on May 6 at NPE2018.
