Czuba Enterprises Inc. is offering a one day seminar on “Plastics for Medical Devices” on Nov. 7 in Minneapolis.
The selection of what type of plastic to use in medical devices can be confusing considering the variables, including processing requirements, the firm says. The seminar, taught by medical plastics consultant Len Czuba, will cover the important factors when creating new devices.
Topics include a market overview, regulatory compliance, materials, testing and continuous improvement.
Variables include molding, extrusion, heat sealing, assembly and sterilization — all of which dictate which plastic material should be used.
Registration costs $700 before Sept. 30 and $800 after that. The fee includes documentation, lunch and refreshments.
Czuba Enterprises is in Lombard, Ill.
