Windsor Kunststofftechnolgie GmbH of Hanau, Germany, which introduced servo-hydraulic injection molding machines from Taiwan's Fu Chun Shin Group at the K 2016 show, will exhibit together with Fu Chun Shin for the first time at this year's Fakuma show — at Hall 7, Stand 7207.
The companies will show the new LM-500SV servo-hydraulic two-platen molding machine with 500 metric tons of clamping force.
Peter Kochs, Windsor's managing director, said two-platen machines make sense even in the mid-size machine segment, with a smaller footprint — and the presses work with relatively short hydraulic units.
During Fakuma, the press will mold storage boxes in a single-cavity mold on a 25-second cycle time. A Campetella robot will demold the boxes and stack them on a conveyor belt.
Also during Fakuma, Japan Steel Works Ltd., which is represented by Windsor in Europe, will demonstrate an all-electric press, J180ADS-180 U. the 180-tonne press will produce an Italian-design fruit bowl.
