Temperance, Mich. — CTG Bel-Kur, a maker of post-molding tooling for composites processing, has invested in a Haas UMC 750 five-axis vertical machining center and created a paint booth at its plant in Temperance.
CTG Bel-Kur's post-molding tooling includes cooling jigs and fixtures, bond and drill fixtures, trim dies and automated assembly equipment.
The new machining center improves productivity when producing multi-sided and complex parts. For example, where those types of parts typically would require multiple setups and operator handling, the new machine will produce the finished part is a single setup, and with increased accuracy, according to the company.
The paint booth brings painting in-house, helping CTG Bel-Kur serve customers in a more streamlined manner.
