A plastics recycling company in Aurora, Colo., is going out of business and its equipment is being put up for auction.
Hi-Tec Plastics Recycling Inc. handled a wide variety of recycled plastics from the industrial, manufacturing and commercial sectors, according to the company's website.
"We purchase scrap plastics, ranging from used pallets and crates to old buckets and pit liners," the website stated. Those materials were reprocessed into regrind or pellets and sold to manufacturers to make new products.
Branford Group is auctioning off a variety of equipment, including a line used for plastics from the oil and gas industry. The auction beings Dec. 11 and ends Dec. 14. A Branford representative indicated Hi-Tec Plastics is closing due to retirement.
