Consulting firm Chemical Data LP has hired Josh Dillingham as director of intermediate chemicals.
Dillingham previously served as an analyst and raw material procurement sourcing specialist for global acrylic materials maker Lucite International. He has almost a decade of industry experience, officials with Houston-based CDI said in a news release.
CDI was founded in 1979 to provide analyses and forecasts of the U.S. petroleum, petrochemical, and plastics markets. The firm publishes two monthly multi-client reports that cover industry supply, demand, trade, costs, margins, and prices.
Officials said that CDI was one of the first consultants to use cost-based price forecasting models for petrochemical and plastics price indices that were backwards integrated to crude oil and natural gas wellheads. The firm's historical databases span more than four decades and its monthly reports include forecasts two to four years into the future.
CDI's clients include investment, energy, oil, chemical, and consumer product companies, as well as many plastic converters and plastics consumers, officials said.
