Yanfeng Automotive Interiors plans to lay off 345 employees at its Highland Park, Mich., plant, according to a notice filed with the state.
A "loss of business" facilitated the cuts, which are scheduled to take place between Jan. 20 and March 30, Yanfeng human resources manager Kimberly Murry wrote in the notice.
Twenty of the positions are salaried, while 207 are hourly union jobs and 118 are third-party contracts.
The auto interiors supplier said in February it would terminate around 300 jobs at two facilities in Monroe, Mich.
Earlier this year, it opened its $8.45 million North American headquarters in Novi, Mich., creating 60 jobs. Yanfeng is based in Shanghai. It makes cockpits, instrument panels, door panels and other interior auto parts.
