Battenfeld-Cincinnati USA has increased its sales coverage for North, Central and South America — and you can meet them at NPE, at booth W2771.
But Battenfeld-Cincinnati also is showing some iron in Orlando. The company will present the solEX NG single-screw extruder, the conEX NG twin-screw conical extruder and the STARextruder — all equipped with the BCtouch UX control.
The extruders represent the company's latest technology for the infrastructure, construction and packaging divisions, serving the pipe, profile and sheet industries.
The solEX NG offers up to 20 percent higher throughputs, 15 percent lower energy costs and lower melt temperatures. The company said it is well-suited for the extrusion of polyolefin pipe.
The conEX NG has a flexible design covering a wide range of outputs for extrusion of PVC pipe, profile and sheet. It allows for up to 20 percent energy savings, according to Battenfeld-Cincinnati. The design platform offers many configurations for primary or coextrusion applications.
STARextruders are desiged for high-grade food packaging. The machine combines a single screw for plastification with a planetary roller section for efficient degassing, which Battenfeld-Cincinnati said makes the STARextruder ideal for direct PET processing. That cuts energy use, thanks to reduced drying times.
Battenfeld-Cincinnati USA is based in McPherson, Kan.
