Grand Rapids, Mich. — Attendees at the American Mold Builders Association conference learned about how custom injection molder Greenleaf Industries Inc. uses the 4DX process to approach goals and make organizational change.
4DX stands for the four disciplines of execution. Beth Johnson, vice president of operations and quality systems at Greenleaf in Lenoir City, Tenn., said the company adopted 4DX as a way to get more employees involved in improving the company — by focusing on a few goals.
"What research has said is, the more goals you have, the least productive you are. So if you narrow it down, then you can actually accomplish that goal," Johnson said.
