La Grange, Ill.-based iD Additives Inc. has created two new QuickShots-brand purge-type products it will introduce May 7-11 at NPE2018 (Booth S28084) in Orlando, Fla.
"Using the packets is quick and easy versus conventional purging" products, Nick Sotos, iD Additives president, said in an interview.
Dissolvable plastic packets of the heavy-duty version, QuickShots HD, have glass prill beads for stubborn mechanical cleaning.
The standard product, QuickShots SP, has pellets containing the ingredients of iD Additives' standard purge material for cleaning laboratory lines. SP is available in 0.5-, 1.0- and 3.0-ounce packets.
The firm's regular liquid purge was trademarked as QuickShots in 2017.
The iD Additives' plant in Flint, Texas, manufactures the QuickShots packets and also produces liquid colorant additives.
Separately, an Aurora, Ill., contract manufacturer produces high-speed foaming agents for iD Additives.
As needed, iD Additives dispatches technical experts to support trials at customer locations.
In North America for sales outside the U.S., the firm uses representatives.
Canada is covered through the Mississauga, Ontario, business office of Canada Colors and Chemicals Ltd. doing business as CCC Plastics.
Mexico is covered through El Paso, Texas-based Bernal Industrial Inc. and its eight locations in Mexican manufacturing environments.
