We've been pulling together this data for quite a while now, in fact, 2019 will be our 30th annual ranking.
Just for fun, I took a look at some long-term statistics and found an interesting turning point in the average sales per company vs. the average number of employees per company.
In 2010, it seems the industry started working smarter. The chart compares the two numbers. 2010 marks the year the trend turned toward more sales per employee.
