At NPE2018, Moretto USA LLC (Booths W8545 and S17095) will demonstrate capability to integrate multiple devices through its Moretto Smart Factory 4.0 technology.
The supplier of integrated systems and auxiliary equipment will show how machines and software can be interconnected and allow constantly-refreshed data to always be available.
Moretto USA will introduce the Eureka Plus resin-drying system, which integrates seamlessly with Smart Factory 4.0 software through Moretto's Mowis brain and human interface. Mowis is self-configurable, has intuitive object programming and unifies monitoring of all machines in a plant.
The advanced Eureka Plus system incorporates Moretto's real-time analytical Moisture Meter Manager, the high-performance multi-bed X Max dryer with consistent dew point, the Flowmatik airflow management device and OTX (original thermal exchanger) drying hopper with mass-flow drying characteristics.
Moretto introduced the original Eureka system at NPE 2015.
Gene Flockerzy, Moretto USA general manager, will make a technical forum presentation about the Eureka Plus system from 10:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Monday, May 7, in NPE2018's South Hall Bottle Zone area. The Bottle Zone has 89 exhibitors focusing on innovations targeted for the plastics industry's PET sector.
Moretto's display of resin-conveying technology will include the One Wire3 control system for centralized management, Kasko resin hopper loaders and receivers, the pneumatically-operated Dolphin manifold for routing of resin flow, the Kruise Control automatic speed control and the stainless-steel Loader F24 high-capacity self-container hopper-loader.
Other product lines featured in Booth W8545 will be a range of stainless steel Teko-brand liquid temperature controllers in both water and oil mediums, guaranteeing automatic temperature precision for injection molding machine molds, extrusion dies, barrels, rollers and baths. Models range from 0.6-54 kilowatt-hours and up to 574° F.
Also, Moretto will display other solutions for conveying, drying, additive feeding, blending, temperature control and supervisory control products and systems.
Moretto's Bottle Zone exhibit in Booth S17095 will recreate PET preform and cap molding operations. The simulation will show the essential technologies for resin conveying, blending and drying along with supervisory control for the production of PET preforms for bottles and high density polyethylene caps.
Other featured Moretto equipment in the Bottle Zone will include a smart conveying system, a Gravix DGM 900 gravimetric batch blender and a full Eureka Plus drying system.
In February, Moretto USA moved its equipment and parts stocking operations to Jackson Center, Pa., from its previous location in Columbus, Ohio.
