Röchling Group has invested 35 million euros ($42.6 million) to expand and scale up medical production capacity at its site in Neuhaus am Rennweg, Germany.
The German group said April 20 that the investment, one of the group's largest, involved the addition of a new production building at the site as part of growth strategy of its medical division.
The expansion will increase capacity "significantly'"at Röchling Medical Neuhaus GmbH, improving the market position of the company which specializes in manufacturing primary packaging for the pharmaceutical and diagnostics industries.
The Röchling Group launched the medical division in 2016, bolstering its two existing divisions: industrial and automotive.
Röchling Medical said its “intensive marketing” had led to major projects, which, it said, necessitated the expansion of production capacity for co-extrusion blow molding.
