Materials firm EnCom Polymers has made some changes to its management ranks.
Larry Beard is the new president of Evansville, Ind.-based EnCom. Tim Henn has been named chief financial officer of the firm, which makes compounds based on a wide variety of commodity and engineering resins.
In a recent statement, Chairman and CEO Rick Kaskel said that Beard's "diverse polymeric background and charismatic personality make him the ideal leader to expand a quickly growing company into new markets."
Beard has been with EnCom since 2014 and has 25 years of overall industry experience.
Kaskel added that Henn "has vast experience in the world of finance [and] his tremendous work ethic and attention to detail will serve him well."
EnCom was founded in 1999 and last year moved into a 100,000-square-foot location in Evansville. The firm added a new extrusion line earlier this year as well.
Some of EnCom's specialties are materials based on acrylonitrile-ethylene-styrene (AES). Markets served by the firm include automotive, utilities, consumer goods and power lawn and garden equipment.
