Detroit — The publications that make up the Crain Global Polymer Group will work together to once again produce the English-language show daily newspapers at K 2019.
The project will be led by Plastics News, which has more than 28 years of experience publishing award-winning daily newspapers at major plastics trade shows.
K Show organizer Messe Düsseldorf and Crain Communications Inc. reached agreement on the project, which marks the third consecutive K Show where Plastics News will publish English-language show dailies.
“We are honored that Messe Düsseldorf has again entrusted us to provide K Show visitors will timely news and information,” said Brennan Lafferty, vice president and group publisher at Crain. “Our journalists love these projects. They'll produce print stories, digital stories as well as video reports from K.”

“We are convinced that the fruitful cooperation with the Crain Global Polymer Group broadens our service for exhibitors and visitors at K 2019”, commented Petra Cullmann, Global Portfolio Director Plastics & Rubber, Messe Düsseldorf.
New for K2019, Crain will produce special sections in the dailies devoted to rubber and urethanes news since K Show draws exhibitors and visitors interested in those materials.
“Doing show dailies gives our team the opportunity to reinforce to readers that our publications are the leaders internationally in polymer news and information,” said Plastics News Editor Don Loepp.
The Crain Global Polymer Group regularly produces show dailies at some of the largest plastics trade shows worldwide, including the K Show, NPE, Fakuma and Plastimagen.
