At Fakuma 2018, Milacron Holdings Corp. will exhibit injection molding technology, Mold-Masters hot runners and control systems, DME mold technology solutions and industries and Tirad mold bases in Hall B3, Booth 3293.
Milacron's M-Powered suite of connected Industry 4.0 services will make its European debut. M-Powered enabled presses currently include remote services capability such as downtime analytics and data collection with maintenance and parts recommendations, plus fully API integration as a standard setup. It also includes Milacron's Red/Green Boxes and dedicated network security.
Milacron also is showing an all-electric Elektron EVO 155 injection molding press with Imflux technology at Fakuma — marking the first time an injection press manufacturer has adopted the molding technology from Imflux, part of Procter & Gamble Co.
In other injection press news at Fakuma, Milacron's Quantum 180 toggle press will make its European debut. Quantum presses are equipped with Milacron's Endura Touch control interface, which is available in presses with clamping forces from 125 to 610 tons.
The Quantum machine will be outfitted with a Mold-Masters E-Multi secondary injection unit, a TempMaster M1 controller and an indexing rotary table. The press will have a two-component mold from Wilhelm Weber GmbH & Co KG. It will mold a squeegee used in showers and for home window cleaning. The body will be molded from a polycarbonate/ABS blend, and the E-Multi will injection the TPE flexible part. Cycle time: 50 seconds.
